The culture experts

Our business model is founded on the importance of culture in both the organization and the nation where it operates. Culture can ignite your resources and optimize your assets or it can deplete your resources and deteriorate your assets. Culture is the immune system, it is what will sustain organizational success. Whether we are conducting feasibility studies or transforming the organizational environment, culture is at the core of what we deliver.

Oneness aims to assist organizations to move from survival mode to innovation mode, by transforming their culture and shifting it towards a culture of Oneness.

Our Methodology: The Oneness Methodology

We were not designed to survive, we were designed to create, innovate, and thrive. When we are surviving, creation stops; and although surviving is an efficient functionality we have to step out of danger, as our thoughts do not differentiate between real danger or an imagined danger. When members of the organization are in survival mode the whole organization will be dragged into survival mode, and this will deplete all energies and remove the ability to innovate and create. Innovation, agility, and collaboration are critical success factors for organizational success as companies navigate the global changing environment.
It's time to integrate all parts of the organization into one whole entity, it's time to align the organizational system with the leadership, it's time to allow people to bring their whole-selves into the organization, it's time to unleash human potential, it's time to create a strong sense of belonging between organizational members and their organization, and it's time to operate as one whole entity that is not surviving, but thriving and creating!
The Oneness Methodology presents science-based concepts that have been implemented around the world, with an impeccable success rate even in the most complex environments. Oneness Methodology is based on a doctorate action research, it translates complex scholarly concepts into a practical conceptual model with a step by step methodology, that all leaders can apply.
It simply works!

The Doctorate Action Research

It is an action research thesis, meaning that not only is it based on theoretical scholarly research, but had to also be implemented in real life and produce positive results for it to be recognized and to be granted the doctorate designation from University of Liverpool. The title of the research is "Spirituality in the Organization", with the word spirituality depicting a sense of belonging and connectedness to one's universe and organization. It is a unique Doctorate Action Research that has provided evidence that humans can unleash a power they may have never experienced before, a power they can apply to their whole life, both personal and professional. But this can only be achieved if they are not "surviving". The unfortunate truth is that the word organization has become equivalent to living in survival mode and this needs to stop because organizations and people both want the same thing: they want an environment that removes them from survival mode and supports them to stay in a thriving mode. The doctorate research was translated into a step by step methodology that leaders can adopt to transform their culture towards oneness.

Our Process Model

We are the culture experts, all our services aim to trigger growth, evolution and the ability to thrive. To achieve this, our deliverables respect a cycle that begins with awareness, action and support.

Our Capabilities

1. Let's Go to the Root

A lot of companies spend hours to dissect a problem trying to find solutions, and most neglect the impact of culture on the emergence of the most technical problems. Until organizations find the root cause of a problem, the same symptoms will continue to reappear throughout its life cycle. It is very common for organizations to solve important problem temporarily because they address the symptom instead of identifying the root cause.
In this service, we ask you to give us a problem, and we will map its root cause. We will also show you how your organization's culture could have affected the problem, and how it is fundamental to its resolution.

2. A View of Culture Symptoms

CEOs aiming to build organizational resilience need to have a clear view of their organization's culture. A common problem in organizations today is the gap between the culture the CEO perceives and the real culture people experience. Aligning the real culture with CEOs culture aspirations is a key element in enabling a common culture that supports both business and talent retention strategy. We will assess the culture and provide a view of the main symptoms, and more importantly the gap between the CEO's desired culture and the real organization culture should there be one. The following is delivered:

a) Culture assessment
b) Gap analysis between current and desired culture
c) Proposed action plan

Implementation of the plan is not included in this service and will be assessed upon clarity of the desired culture and commitment level of the board members and CEO.

Leaving the organizational Team with the knowledge needed to maintain the benefits of a culture of Oneness is a critical success factor for us, this is why we won't do it for you, instead we hold your hand and walk you through it, we support you until you are able to hold the hands of others and walk them through it. We want to spread everyone we influence with the addictive feeling of Oneness!
The process would typically include the following phases:

International Recognition

An organization that transforms its culture cannot be benchmarked against another, simply because it is in a different dimension and has broken free from all norms. Such organizations have unleashed human potential to the extent that they speak a "different language". Despite the fact that we will respect the privacy of the names of the organizations; however, it is important to highlight the type of international recognition organizations who have implemented the methodology have received, especially that they are all driven by the organization's culture:

The Oneness Certification

Culture to an organization can be compared to the immune system of a person. A healthy immune system will keep its owner thriving, it enables its owner to shift from survival mode fast, which is a state of energy depletion. More importantly, persisting for a long time in survival mode can destroy a person on the physical, mental and emotional levels. People cannot care for parts of themselves and neglect their immune system, as it is the foundation of all building blocks. This same analogy applies to organizations, if the culture of the organization is not healthy, all efforts to build parts of the organization will eventually crumble and the organization will remain in survival mode, its resources will be depleted, and it will begin to self-destruct. Leaders typically react to this situation by cutting costs, cutting jobs and in some cases throwing money at the problem, only to realize that all such decisions yield temporary solutions and the cycle of degradation continues.
Organizations are trained to invest only in what yields direct financial returns, they react to what they see in their financials but they don't realize that culture drives everything in their financials. It is the engine that brings everything together and in today's high-pressure global environment what will differentiate one organization from another is its ability to sustain success by ensuring its immune system, i.e. its culture is strong and healthy.
For this reason, we introduce the first Culture Certification Program created to assist organizations to transform their culture towards Organizational Oneness.

The Certification Program

Managing culture has always been perceived as a leadership task, but when we understand culture we understand that it is shaped by the behaviors and attitudes of the whole organization, it is also triggered by the policies of an organization and most importantly, culture can be clearly depicted in the relationships of the members of the organization and the decision-making processes of its management team. Therefore, culture management cannot be limited to leaders, it has to spread to all elements of the organization. For this purpose, training all members of the management team on managing their organization's culture is a must, this certification program achieves this objective, preserves the acquired knowledge and builds on it through its certification maintenance process.

The Certification Process

Participants interested in the Culture Certification will take part in a workshop entitled "Activate Your Power for a Culture of Organizational Oneness". A unique workshop that is based on the recognition that a leadership shift needs to be aligned with a personal growth journey because it is the personal traits that result in the leadership style and the way culture is managed. This program targets the management team of the organization, both middle and senior management.

Part I: A Personal Transformation Journey that presents participants with an opportunity to heal and activate their inner power, so that they become ready to contribute to a healthy organizational culture. In part I, the participants are introduced to unique information from multiple disciplines, including Physics, Neuroscience, Social Studies, and Leadership and Management. The objective of part I is to teach participants, to not only translate these concepts into a lifestyle that will evolve their personal state of mind and their leadership style, but to also understand how human behavior is triggered. This double edge understanding will transform the way they perceive situations and will equip them to become aware of "survival mode" and pull themselves and the rest of the organizational members out of it.
Part II: After completing part I of the workshop, participants become ready to apply what they learned on the organizational context. Part II provides an illustration of a Leadership model based on a Doctorate Action Research, the methodology is the "Oneness Methodology". Participants will be presented with the science behind the methodology and they will be taken through a step by step participants process, and an illustration of its application. By the end of the workshop participants will be equipped with the tools and the state of mind to value and optimize the culture of their organization and to protect through their leadership and behavior.

Step 2:
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to apply to obtain the Culture Certification. A successful application will include the compliance with the following elements:
  • 3 years of management experience or more
  • Workshop assessment done by workshop participants
  • Proven organizational respect through a 360-degree feedback
  • Endorsed by the organization both in terms of financial and time support.
Step 3:
Upon receiving acceptance for the Culture Certification, candidates will go through the following milestones:
  • Submission of a detailed analysis of an organizational problem selected by senior management, to be delivered within a maximum period of 3 months from acceptance to the Certification Program. The problem and the detailed analysis will be presented to be assessed by the Oneness team and decision will be made within 2 weeks of presentation.
  • Application of the Oneness Methodology to solve this problem, to be completed within a maximum period of 6 months from problem approval.
  • Participation in one "Activate Your Power Workshop" delivered to a group outside of the candidate's organization. Participation will require the candidate to observe the process and participate in all administrative tasks resulting from the workshop. Dates of available workshops will be communicated in due time.
  • Delivery of an in-house culture training to senior employees in the organization
  • Oath and signature for Ethical Code of Conduct
Successful achievement of Steps 1 to 3 will result in the granting of the Culture Certification.

Step 4:
Maintaining the quality of the acquired Certification is of paramount importance as it gives credibility to its holder and increases their value. Out of respect for the efforts of certified professionals, maintaining certification requires the completion of the following factors on a yearly basis:
  • 360-degree evaluation done by the candidate's organization
  • Oath and signature for Ethical Code of Conduct
  • Participation once per year in follow-up "Activate Your Power" Workshop

The Value of the Oneness Certification

Optimizing parts of the organization is always necessary to ensure that it has the needed skill set to perform all of its functions efficiently. However, in the absence of a connective system that brings all these skills together, the organization will not reap neded benefits throughout its different parts. Imagine a finance department employing top level experts holding the highest professional certifications; they will surely do their work competently. Nevertheless they might lack a perspective into the bigger picture within their organization, which potentially leads to making the wrong decisions. A department that works in silo, no matter how skilled its members are, will expose the organization to inefficiencies that could carry big unforeseen costs. This is where the concept of Oneness comes into play, helping teams align their energies towards the same goal. The Oneness Certification can lead to:

Optimizing the value of an organization's investments. Investments made to upskill employees will not discipate once these employees decide to leave the institution. By creating a knowledge sharing and capacity building culture, such an investment in knowledge will be retained and spread to other exisiting and newer members of the team. The Certification will lead the organization's team to create a foundation where all investments are embedded in the organizational system, thereby creating value for the organization, not pieces of the organization that will disintegrate with employee turnover.

Retaining talent. Job evolution and a strong sense of belonging to one's place of work have been proven to be excellent motivators for employee retention. By abolishing the walls that separate functions within the organization, and by creating meaningful work that is linked with the Organization's purpose, employees will understand the importance of their jobs to the Organization's existence. More importantly, employees' evolution will not be limited to a time consuming hierarchal path, instead they will acquire new skills and will be exposed to more complex situations that will drive their learning. The Certification will equip its holder with knowledge beyond their limited function. Consequently, top performers become convinced that it is in their best interest to remain in the organization where they can evolve and grow. This actually decreases costs that organizations incur by typically "throwing money at people" to retain them.

Creating a pleasant, resilient environment. While the flight or fight response was quite useful for us in the jungle, remaining for a long time in survival mode wreaks havoc on your human capital. The Oneness Certification equips teams with the right tools to overcome this state of survival in high pressure phases. This shifts their focus from the problem to the solution. They will find a positive point in every challenging situation, they will become addicted to a healthy and peaceful environment, and they will start feeling a bond with the organization that was not there before.

Organizational Hidden Costs

An organizational culture that keeps its members in survival mode, has been proven to have a detrimental effect on the bottom-line of companies. While this effect goes unnoticed at times because it occurs gradually, it is real and damaging. Such costs can include:
  • Loss of top performers whose experience and contributions are valuable for companies
  • Lack of knowledge transfer between team members which triggers additional training costs
  • Organizational Systems that drive negative behavior, a good example of which is the performance evaluation system adopted by many organizations

Skills Acquired through this Certification

While professional certifications grant their holder more focus knowledge in a specific field, This Certification enables its holders to align the functions, efforts and timelines of the organization towards a common goal, one that serves the entire organization, rather than a specific team. It is an Certification that equips its holder with the ability to implement solutions, to remove obstacles and to create organizational buy in and alignment. Some of the skills that will be optimized through this Certification include:
  • Change Management skills, which is essential in our changing global environment
  • Strategic Analytical skills, acquired through the process of prioritizing and aligning function priorities versus organizational priorities
  • Action and Implementation skills, acquired through the understanding and resolution of hidden obstables that halt or delay achievement
  • "Journey" Management skills, because it's not a project, it has no end, it keeps evolving
  • Knowledge Management skills, acquired through the feedback process at the core of the Oneness Methodology that participants will assimilate and an essential asset for the organization
  • Analysis of Hidden Costs, acquired through the understanding of root causes of problems, more importantly participants will learn to depict how culture can increase hidden costs that are not identified in the company's financial reports.

The Oneness Award

It is in our best interest as humans to spread the concept of Oneness in our organizations. Such a concept will support the transition of people in the Organization from a place where they are constantly exerting effort to survive, to a place where they are connecting and thriving. Succeding in this transition will have a great impact on our communities and our globe. Those who are now thriving because of this concept, will in turn share these techniques with their families and friends: the joy of thriving is contagious. We want to encourage the application of the Oneness Methodology and more importantly we want to encourage professionals to learn the methodology, to become aware of their own state and to contribute to the state of mind of everyone they influence.

In recognition of those who are making the effort to undertake this important transition, and in gratitude to these organizations that have supported their teams on this journey, Oneness Management has introduced a credible organizational award to acknowledge these efforts and pay tribute to the achievers in this area.

The award is labelled as the "Oneness Culture Award" and is granted to organizations that rank the highest in the following categories:

1. Gender Diversity at the Executive level ratio
2. Percentage of Certified Managers in the Organization out of the Management Team
3. Questionnaire completed by Executive representation the Organization
4. Independent 360-degree feedback on the organization's leadership
